PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to automatically detect the service lift of a cutting blade. SOLUTION: A sheet cutter B has a trimmer unit D for cutting a sheet bundle by the cutting blade 81, and a CPU for comparing a present cutting frequency provided by a blade position sensor 102 by the fact that the cutting blade 81 cuts the sheet bundle, with a cutting frequency for determining a replacement reference of the cutting blade stored in a ROM. The CPU urges the replacement of the cutting blade to a user by determining as replacing time of the cutting blade 81, when the present cutting frequency becomes the cutting frequency or more for determining the replacement reference.
