PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand drier which has improved drying efficiency and reduced noise, provides a well sense of use, and sanitarily dries wet hands after being washed. SOLUTION: The hand drier is provided with a processing space 3 in and out of which the hands are put, a high pressure air flow generator 8 for blowing off a working air flow 15, and a jetting nozzle 12 with a plurality of slit-shaped jetting holes 13 oriented in the width direction of the processing space 3 for blowing off the working air flow 15 from the high pressure air flow generator 8 to the processing space 3. In this case, the plurality of jetting holes 13 can be provided in the front and back directions of the processing space 3 as well.
