PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of carrying out RGB interpolation processing in accordance with the characteristic of an optical low pass filter. SOLUTION: Point sequential image data are obtained by imaging a subject through the use of a CCD in front of which the optical low pass filter is located. The point sequential image data and the characteristic of the optical low pass filter are recorded on a memory card. The characteristic of the optical low pass filter is read from the memory card in the case of reproduction (step 72). A weight coefficient utilized for RGB interpolation is set in accordance with the characteristic of the optical low pass filter is set (steps 74 to 76).
