摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for a flux gate magnetometer capable of attaining high precision for magnetic intensity measurement. SOLUTION: In this measuring instrument for the flux gate magnetometer having an excitation circuit for electrifying an excitation current to an excitation coil of a magnetic sensor to impart an alternating magnetic field to a magnetic detecting material of the magnetic sensor, and for measuring a magnetic field based on a higher harmonic induced by an asymmetric component of a magnetic flux reflected with a measured magnetic field detected by the excitation coil of the magnetic sensor, the excitation circuit has a current fluctuation restraining circuit 5 for keeping the excitation current within a prescribed current value to be output, and for delaying a time until the excitation current increase-fluctuating in a magnetic saturation area of the magnetic detecting material reaches a prescribed current.
