PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly lock device having high detection accuracy of a coin. SOLUTION: This lock device has: a locking body 2 moving between a locking position and an unlocking position by rotation operation to a cylinder lock 1; a coin holder 5 having a coin holding part 3, and rotating inside a casing 4 interlockingly with the cylinder lock 1; a coin sensor part 8 installed to the coin holder 5, having a detection part 6 coming into pressure-contact with the periphery of the coin A held inside the coin holding part 3, and having an output part 7 driven correspondingly to a position of the detection part 6; and a holder rotation control part 9 permitting and forbidding the rotation of the coin holder 5 by a position of the output part 7 of the coin sensor part 8.
