Heat exchanger, partic. for a heavy vehicle, having a tube-plate (5) and a water channel (6) made of plastics material, where the tube-plate (5) is sealed with a liq.-tight joint to the channel section (6) in which a weld surface (11; 31; 41) around the edge region (5') of the tubeplate (5) is aligned with, and vibration welded to a welding surface (21; 33; 43) of the water channel, and in which a guide is provided along the direction of vibrational motion (X) of the channel (6) for aligning the channel (6) along the tubeplate (5), and novel in that the guide is provided as a centering surface (12; 32a; 32b; 42a; 42b) extending along the tubeplate (5), which is formed as an integral part of the welding surface (11; 31; 41) of the tubeplate (5), and that the weld surface (21; 33; 43) of the channel (6) possesses a guide surface (22; 34a; 34b; 43a; 44b) coacting with the centering surface (12; 32a; 32b; 42a; 42b). |
