<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a dielectric ceramic composition which yields the densified dielectric ceramic composition without deteriorating various electric characteristics even in firing at a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the dielectric ceramic composition having barium titanate, yttrium oxide, magnesium oxide, vanadium oxide and a sintering aid, the sintering aid having a 1st glass composition consisting essentially of SiO<SB>2</SB>and further containing MO (wherein M expresses at least one of Ba, Ca, Sr and Mg) and a 2nd glass composition containing B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, ZnO and SiO<SB>2</SB>and having ≤1.5 μm average particle diameter is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
