<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating instrument hanger retaining treating instruments with great variety of shapes to be used in an endoscopic inspection and treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The treating instrument hanger is provided with treating instrument retaining means retaining the treating instruments used for an endoscope, and the treating instrument retaining means 10 has a plurality of retaining sections with different retaining forms when retaining operating sections of the treating instruments and integrally formed with the retaining sections. The treating instrument retaining means 10 has a retaining groove 11 retaining the operating section of the treating instrument and a hook section 10b for engaging a ring part 101 of the operating section of the treating instrument, and is provided with a retaining plate 15 for engaging the treating instrument retaining means 10 and a support 20 supporting the retaining plate 15.
