<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent offset on the low temperature side by expanding a satisfactory fixing temperature area even for a cardboard. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital copying machine relating to the image forming apparatus, when a "cardboard" mode is set through an operation panel 40, a main CPU 31 sets the inclination of γ of a γ correction part 95 of an image processing device 36 corresponding to "cardboard", and exerts control so as to alter an amount of toner attached from 1.6 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>to 1.0 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>, thereby expanding the satisfactory fixing temperature area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
