摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve torque response to accelerator operation, while preventing degradation of fuel economy, exhaust property, and idling vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A compressor 8 is provided midway in a sub-duct 3b downstream of a throttle chamber 2, and selection valves 7a, 7b are provided at ports for inlet and outlet. Upon taking a driver's foot off the accelerator, the selection value 7a on the inlet side is opened to drive the compressor 8. As a result, pressure in the section between the compressor 8 and the selection valve 7b on the outlet side becomes higher than the intake pressure. When operation for accelerator-open is detected, the high pressure air is discharged by opening the selection valve 7b, and the engine intake air flow is increased in quick response. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
