PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis apparatus capable of performing an analysis of high reliability even if there are bubbles on the surface of a reagent liquid. SOLUTION: The stopper opening device of a reagent container and the bubble detector and liquid surface detector in the reagent container are provided. Since a liquid amount is detected after the reagent container is opened to confirm that no bubbles are present in the container, the reagent container can be mounted on the automatic analysis apparatus while a lid is applied to the reagent container. By this constitution, the automatic analysis apparatus reducing the loading labor of the reagent container and low in running cost can be realized.
