PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device which is provided with a display element having a structure capable of suppressing decrease of a light amount of the light emitted in an organic light emitting layer, in which a driving voltage is small, and in which the light can be emitted efficiently. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problems, this organic EL display device 10 is provided with a plurality of display elements 20 installed on the substrate 30, the respective display elements have an anode electrode 31 arranged on the substrate, a cathode electrode 32 arranged adjacent to the anode electrode, an organic light emitting layer 38 which emits the light by an electric field given by the anode electrode and the cathode electrode and which is formed on the substrate so as to cover both of the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, and a separator 42 that is arranged between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode and that insulates and separates at least the anode electrode and the cathode electrode in the horizontal direction, and carbon nanotubes are mixed into the organic light emitting layer.
