PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for electronic display which removes unwanted external light, by locating it on the front surface of an electronic display, and enhances the contrast of the electronic display. SOLUTION: The filter 10 for electronic display, located on the front surface of the electronic display 11, has a minimum value K of transmissivity for the wavelength range of 530 to 600 nm and the visible transmissivity Y1, using an emission spectrum of the electronic display 11 to be an installation object, is higher than the visible transmittance Y2 using an emission spectrum (JIS Z8719-1996) of a general-type fluorescent lamp F6.
