PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device having a thermoregulator, particularly a laser module, wherein the deformation of a substrate installed on the thermoregulator is suppressed, even when the temperature is varied by the thermoregulator. SOLUTION: The optical device has a first substrate constituted of a first material installed on the thermoregulator, a second substrate constituted of a second material joined onto the first substrate, and optical components installed on the second substrate.
