PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light collecting method and a light collecting device effectively utilizing a space not interfering with the movement of persons as a passage of light, irradiating light to optional place from optional direction, restraining halation caused by the light collection through a window, realizing an effective light collection by an additional installation of a simple device/equipment, and reconciling the light collection and interception of a line of sight from outdoors. SOLUTION: The above functions of the light collecting device are obtained by setting optional passages of light by using a collective reflection plate light collecting device 112 for making light reflect in a space of the building in an optional angle by a blind or the like, a light collecting device 114 with low light transmissivity, a light collecting device 115 for guiding the light in a space in need of illumination, and light collecting devices 116, 117 for dividing and dispersing the light by the combination of reflection and transmission, and by the above, a power for illumination and air-conditioning is reduced.
