PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source device capable of heightening transmission efficiency of control signals and properly controlling a circuit in a high potential state, and an X-ray generating device using the same. SOLUTION: The power source device 1is provided with a chassis 23, a voltage generating part 7 sealed by molding a transparent sealing material 25 and generating voltage, a control part 9 installed outside of the chassis 23 for controlling drive of the voltage generating part 7, and an information throughput part 10 transmitting control signals by signal light. The information transmission part 10 has a first light transmitting and receiving part 37 sealed by molding the transparent sealing material 25, and a second light transmitting and receiving part 39 exchanging the signal light with the first light transmitting and receiving part through the sealing material 25, and the first light transmitting and receiving part has a light-emitting device 19 including an LED element 19a, a dome lens part 19b condensing light, and a cover member 19c fitted so as to zone them from the transparent sealing material 25 and cover them, and a gap 19d is provided between the cover member 19c and the dome lens part 19b.
