PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent balls put out from a ball put-out device from flowing down to a lower ball tray needlessly. SOLUTION: This invention is a ball discharge route mechanism 28 in a pinball game machine. The ball discharge route mechanism 28 is composed of a back set board 20 and a lid member 66 and is constituted of a ball receiving part 81 for receiving the balls, an upper ball tray discharge route 63 for discharging the balls to an upper ball tray 14 and a lower ball tray discharge route 64 for discharging excess balls through a bypass route 65 to a lower ball tray 16, and a partition wall 67 is provided between the ball receiving part 81 and the lower ball tray discharge route 64. The bypass route 65 is constituted of a front part bypass path 73 capable of bypassing the front part of the partition wall 67 and a rear part bypass path 74 capable of bypassing the rear part of the partition wall 67. The front part bypass path 73 is formed to be projected to the front side in the back set board 20, and the rear part bypass path 74 is formed to be projected to the rear side in the lid member 66.
