Frame (1) for holding a cover, e.g. a rainwater gutter, has at least an anchor (2) which is anchored in a binding agent, e.g. concrete, at least a protection element (3) for protection of at least a first fastening element (11) when the anchor is embedded and an angular extrusion (15). The protection element forms an integral part of the anchor.
