<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that compensates for an apparent decrease in the power source voltage of a control circuit when a power source is turned on by an interlock control signal. <P>SOLUTION: When a transistor TR1 is turned on in response to an interlock relay control signal and a current flows in a relay coil 2 so that a relay contact 3 is closed, a capacitor C2 is charged, via a diode D1 and a resistor 5, at a power source voltage of DC 24V, and the charged voltage is supplied to the power source input end of the control system circuit 6. This compensates for the apparent decrease in a power source voltage of DC 5V in the control system circuit 6, which is caused by a rush-in current flowing in the capacitor C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
