<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of documentation by making operation of a treating doctor convenient. <P>SOLUTION: This device examines human eyes. The device has a diagnostic unit arranged in front of a left eye or a right eye when performing an examination, and a frame including an upper part and a lower part. The lower part is fixedly arranged, and the upper part holds the diagnostic unit, and can be relatively adjusted in the X direction to the lower part so that the diagnostic unit is positioned in front of the left eye or the right eye.
