PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and a device which perform highly precise three-dimensional information estimation and perform image division closer to the original shape of an object. SOLUTION: The method of three-dimensional information estimation and the device for performing the same divide an image used as reference into small areas, estimate parallax of boundary lines of the small areas by a stereo method of area base, analyze frequency distribution of the parallax of the boundary lines estimated in each area and estimate the parallax of the areas.
