PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To do away with necessity to newly construct verifying environment every time an information processing system that is a target of performance measurement changes, and to complete the performance measurement before the information processing system actually operates to avoid conventional deterioration of service provided by the information processing system in a performance measurement/verification period after the actual operation. SOLUTION: Performance monitoring devices 204a, 105a or a performance monitoring device belonging to another system monitor performance of connected servers (101a, 102a, 103a in the case of the performance monitoring devices 104a, 105a), and transmit performance data showing a monitoring result thereof to a management server 111. The management server 111 collects performance data from the plurality of performance monitoring devices, and measures performance of the information processing system that is the target of the performance measurement on the basis of the performance data according to a configuration of the information processing system.
