PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter apparatus in which the degree of freedom in sector arrangement is improved. SOLUTION: In the shutter apparatus 1 provided with a substrate 3 equipped with a shutter aperture 4, and at least two sectors 10, 20 and 30 which are supported by supporting shafts 11, 21 and 31 so that they can freely slide in order to open/close the shutter aperture 4, the overall height of one supporting shaft 11 for one sector is reduced, and the one supporting shaft 11 is arranged with the oscillating area of other sectors 20 and 30. In this shutter apparatus, the one supporting shaft for the one sector is arranged within the oscillating area of other sectors, then, the arrangement design of the sectors can be attained with flexibility. Then, the shutter apparatus with the sectors which are arranged so as to attain the increase of a shutter speed, the miniaturization and the efficiency in assembling can be produced.
