摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain superior color coordinate characteristics and to simultaneously improve the luminance characteristics. SOLUTION: The electron emission element is provided with at least one anode electrode 11 formed on a surface of a substrate 2, and a light emitting part 21, including a plurality of fluorescent layers 13 which are patternized and disposed separated from each other in a predetermined distance on a surface of the anode electrode 11, wherein at least one fluorescent layer of the plurality of the fluorescent layers 13 is constructed so as to have a multiply divided pattern where it is divided into a plurality of patterns. The plurality of the fluorescent layers 13 preferably contain at least one green fluorescent layer 13G, at least one blue fluorescent layer 13B, and at least one red fluorescent layer 13R.
