PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein set display on a remote-control unit is kept in the state of being switched by a user and made different from the setting of a main body, though the setting of the main body is returned to a standard state, when the main body determines the completion of the use by the user and returns the setting, switched by the user, to the standard state, because a remote-control sanitary washing apparatus prevailing in recent years is equipped with only a one-way communication means from the remote control unit to the main body. SOLUTION: This sanitary washing apparatus is equipped with the remote-control unit which comprises an operation instruction means for providing instructions on an operation of the sanitary washing apparatus, and a function setting changing means for changing the setting of a function, possessed by the sanitary washing apparatus, from the predetermined standard state. The remote control unit, which is provided with a use completion determining means for determining that the user completes the use, restores the setting of the function setting changing means, switched by the user during the use, to the standard state, when the use completion determining means determines the completion of the use of the sanitary washing apparatus.
