PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat capable of suppressing variation of the looseness of a belt even when the tilting of the seat back section is changed. SOLUTION: The child seat 1 comprises a base section 2 disposed on a seat 100 of a vehicle and a seat section 3 to be disposed on the base section 2 in a front-facing attitude with respect to the seat 100. The base section 2 comprises a base body 2a to be fixed to the seat 100, a slider 5 connected to the base body 2a positionally adjustably in the longitudinal direction of the seat 100, a constraining belt device having a pair of shoulder belts 30 for constraining the small child sitting on the seat section 3 and an adjusting belt 37 of which one end side is connected to the shoulder belts 30 on the rear side of the seat section 3 and the other end side is pulled out to the front side of the slider 5 and connected to the slider 5, and a looseness adjusting mechanism 81 for changing the guide passage of the adjusting belt according to the movement of the slider 5.
