PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device that reliably records a high quality image without lowering the transferability of a recording medium. SOLUTION: The image recording device 1 has an image recording section 50 for recording an image by discharging ink droplets to a recording medium and a transfer driving means for providing a driving force to the recording medium. The device has a transfer section 40 for transferring the recording medium by the transfer driving means when an image is recorded, a paper feeding section 30 for feeding the recording medium to the transfer section, and a dust prevention section 60 having a partitioning member to partition a space in the image recording device into an image recording area GR for recording an image by the image recording section 50 and a paper feeding area FR for supplying the recording medium by a paper feeding section.
