PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-correction analog signal with a stipulated amplitude by calculating an amplitude correction term for a sine wave-like analog signal to add it to the sine wave-like analog signal. SOLUTION: According to this correction method for a sine wave-like analog signal, that for a diplophase sine wave-like analog signal, and the position data generation method, the amplitude correction term is found in an amplitude correction term calculation part 14 so that the amplitude of the sine wave-like analog signal 2 equals the stipulated amplitude, and the post-correction analog signal 20 is found by using the correction term.
