RELATIVE DISTANCE MEASURING METHOD AND ITS INSTRUMENT

A method and instrument for measuring the irregular shape of an object in a three-dimensional space simply with high accuracy. By using the phenomenon that, when an object is imaged by cameras, the parallaxes are different because of the irregularity in the direction of the object thickness, the relative heights at points in the image with respect to a reference point in the image according to the information on the distances from the cameras to the reference point.
