<p>An ejector pin slidably inserted into a pin hole drilled in a mold in which a cavity is formed, having a gas vent groove spirally formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof to release gas in the cavity to the outside, capable of suppressing the adhesion and accumulation of gas components in the gas vent groove, allowing the gas components adhered to the peripheral surface of the pin hole to be scraped off, and capable of preventing galling in ejecting operation, wherein the cross sectional shape of the gas vent groove is formed in a curved one in which a corner part is not present in the groove so that the deepest part of the groove is positioned forward (cavity side) of the lateral center of the groove. The depth of the groove is made shallow gradually from the deepest part toward a rearward groove shoulder part, and the corner angle of the rearward groove shoulder part is made larger than the corner angle (generally 90º) of a forward groove shoulder part.</p> |
