<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing a reaction gas from leaking from a reaction gas passage 4c to a water passage 7 through a porous separator 3c. <P>SOLUTION: The reaction gas passages 4c are formed on the surface of the porous separator 3c contacting an electrode 2c, and the water passages 7 are formed on the other surface 20s thereof by combining first groove passages 5 and second groove passages 6 in contact with a water passage formation plate 8 and formed on joining surfaces 20 of the porous separator 3c and the water passage formation plate 8, respectively. Then, the upper groove side surface 50 of each first groove passage 5 positioned on the upper side with respect to water running in the water passage 7 is formed of a slope 9 tilting upward toward a contact surface 31 to the formation plate 8. The end 61 of an upper groove side surface 60 continued to the slope 9 of each second groove passage 6 is so formed as to be positioned equal to the end 51 of the slope 9 or above it, whereby bubbles in each first groove passage 5 are moved to the second passage 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
