<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having remarkably small power consumption when the power is off, of which power is switched on when a memory card is inserted into a memory card slot when the power is off. <P>SOLUTION: While a power switch PS is manipulated, a contact point of the power switch PS is configured and a voltage control terminal PC is short-circuited to GND (0 V). A first power control circuit 1 is operated irrespective of the output voltage of a power supply unit 10, being a rated voltage 42 V or a standby voltage 3 V. On detecting the memory card being inserted into a first memory card slot 5 to a predetermined insertion position, the first power control circuit 1 makes the power control terminal PC short-circuited to 0 V for a predetermined time period. A second power control circuit 11 is operated irrespective of the output voltage of the power supply unit 10, being the rated voltage 42 V or the standby voltage 3 V. On detecting the memory card being inserted into a second memory card slot 15 to a predetermined insertion position, the second power control circuit 11 makes the power control terminal PC short-circuited to 0 V for a predetermined time period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
