<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card transaction device capable of promoting the use of stores and services by members by increasing the sales of affiliated stores without placing a burden on the stores and a card company. <P>SOLUTION: The card transaction device 104, which is connected to a store device 106 processing information about sales transactions with a client 102, receives log-in information from the client. Using the log-in information stored, log-in information is authenticated. Guidance information that guides the user of the client 102 in accessing the store device 106 is presented to the client 102 authenticated. Sales information including a card number and a transaction amount is received from the store device 106. Point information that corresponds to the card number is updated according to the transaction amount.
