<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for a syringe offering less deterioration in drug strength during its storage time, and high accuracy of flow rate when used for drug administration. <P>SOLUTION: The gasket 1 for the syringe equipped with a plunger mounting part 4, can slide on an inner surface 22 of an outer tube of the syringe. The gasket 1 for the syringe is made of an elastic material into a gasket shape for the syringe, which comprises a core part 2 with a distal annular rib 12a formed on its side surface liquid tightly and air tightly accessible to the inner surface 22 of the outer tube, a lower drug adsorption layer 5 made of poly-p-xylene to coat an apex surface 11 of the core part 2 and a side surface 13 including the distal annular rib 12a, and an elastic material coating layer 6 to coat the distal annular rib 12a coated with the lower drug adsorption layer 5 made of poly-p-xylene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
