<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact robot taking a large moving area. <P>SOLUTION: Moving parts 1, 1 are constituted to carry out a rectilinear motion by a driving device 4, and the moving part 1 and the moving part 1 carry out the rectilinear motion in parallel with each other. Motors 40, 40 are separately controlled by a control device 9, and the moving parts 1, 1 are free to move at different speed and to position at different positions. Arms 2, 2 are respectively installed on the moving parts 1, 1 free to turn at axial fulcrums 10, 10, and other ends of the arms 2, 2 are axially supported at the axial fulcrums 30, 30 and installed free to turn.
