PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid sealing type cylindrical vibration damper formed in such a structure that the residual tension of the body rubber elastic body in vulcanized molding is reduced or eliminated and specified spring characteristics and durability can be advantageously secured by efficiently securing the maximum rubber volume and the effective free length of rubber in a direction perpendicular to the axis in the limited range of the outline size of the outer cylindrical member. SOLUTION: A middle sleeve 22 is formed of a pair of annular split cylindrical bodies 24 and 26 arranged apart from each other in the axial direction. A window part 34 is formed to be extended along all the periphery between the axial opposed faces of the pair of annular split cylindrical bodies 24 and 26, and a circumferential recessed groove 28 opened to the outer peripheral surface and extending in the circumferential direction is formed in at least one of the annular split cylindrical bodies 24 and 26, and the circumferential recessed groove 28 is covered by the outer cylindrical member 14 to form an orifice passage 42.
