PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide DNA-containing polysulfone microspheres and to provide a separation/removal method of dioxins using the DNA-containing polysulfone microspheres. SOLUTION: In the DNA-containing polysulfone microspheres, DNA is encapsulated in hollow microspheres consisting of polysulfone or DNA is filled in porous microspheres consisting of polysulfone. When the DNA-containing polysulfone microspheres are brought into contact with liquid to be treated containing dioxins, the dioxins are intercalated into DNA and are separated and removed. As raw material of DNA, soft roe of fish the most part of which is discarded heretofore can be used. Therefore, when the DNA-containing polysulfone microspheres are used, the dioxins dissolved in the liquid to be treated can be selectively, efficiently and inexpensively separated and removed.
