PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open ceiling structure which enables an existing open ceiling space to be easily changed depending on life. SOLUTION: In an open ceiling section 10 of a housing building 1, a boundary section between the first floor 11 and the second floor 12 is provided with a screen 2 capable of opening or partitioning a space between a living room 11a on the first floor 11 and the opening ceiling section 10 on the second floor 12. In this open ceiling structure, a storage box 3 is provided in a side wall surface of the boundary section between the first floor 11 and the second floor 12, and the screen 2 can get into/out of the storage box 3. The screen 2 is formed of a semi-translucent raw material which does not completely shield light and through which the light can transmit by being softened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
