PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively increase durability of a bead section by reducing crack progress rate along a steel cord while suppressing breakage of the steel cord in a reinforcing layer 29. SOLUTION: When a value derived by dividing the radial distance L from a rim radial position S to the radial outer end 32a of the outside section 32 of the reinforcing layer 29 by the tire height H is set to B, assuming that the value F derived by dividing tolerant bending rigidity M of the reinforcing layer 29 by the square of the value B is 0.10 or more, the crack progressable distance can be increased while preventing the breakage of the buckling of the steel cord in the reinforcing layer 29. However, since the steel cord cannot follow along compressional deformation and deform when the value F exceeds 0.50, the value F is set 0.50 or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
