PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool for reel for fishing, capable of readily carrying out reduction of lightweight, having little resistance to sliding, capable of stably carrying out unreeling and winding of a fishline without causing breakage, etc., of yarn, excellent in throwing operability, abrasion resistance and durability and economical efficiency. SOLUTION: The spool 11 of the reel 10 for fishing detachably is attached to a reel body and reciprocated in the shaft direction and constituted so as to wind the fishline around the nearly cylindrical bobbin body 11a or feed out the fishline from the bobbin body 11a and at least yarn bobbin body 11a is constituted so as to be formed by a polyamide resin such as MC nylon.
