FIELD: foundation building, particularly for driving sheet piles in ground. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for driving sheet pile having at least one interlock with inner cavity for receiving sealing tube before pile driving involves extracting the tube out of the inner interlock cavity and driving the next sheet pile in ground. Tube is inflated and opened longitudinal slot of inner interlock cavity is sealed before pile driving. Then tube is deflated to pull the tube out of the inner cavity. Device for closing and sealing inner interlock cavity has inflatable sealing tube and sealing means cooperating with the tube and having wedge-like cross-section. Tube presses the sealing means into longitudinal slot of inner interlock cavity during tube inflation. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of inner interlock cavity protection against ground ingress with the use of sealing means. ^ 20 cl, 8 dwg |
