FIELD: machines or apparatus for drying materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: drier comprises at least one well that receives supplying and discharging gas duct, inlet and outlet devices, and device for diverging the material flow mounted under the well and provided with the central deflector. The outlet device is connected with the outlet of the diverging device which is made of a cooling chamber provided with a gas manifold under the central deflector. The manifold is in communication with the means for generating gas flows inside the material to be dried. The well and cooling chamber are interconnected so that the longitudinal axes of the gas ducts and manifold intersect. The cooling chamber comprises face and gas-permeable sides. The port for inflowing the material and central deflector with gas manifold under it are interposed between the top parts of the sides. The bottom parts of the sides are close and define a port between them and faces for discharging material. The sides in the zone of the top part of the gas manifold are deflected from it so that the distance between these walls in the port for inflowing material is greater than that between them in the port for discharging material. ^ EFFECT: reduced material consumption. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
