DEVICE FOR TAKING MEASUREMENTS, REGISTRATION, PROCESSING AND PERFORMING ANALYSIS OF MOTION PARAMETERS OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES USING DIESEL FUEL

The invention refers to the field of the equipment for motion parameters control and registration and can be used for the fuel consumption metering and vehicle use optimization as well as in any other device using diesl fuel. The invention scope is to expand the number of controlled parameters and to increase the accuracy of fuel quantity measuring under the action of various dynamic influences on the vehicle fuel tank. The device consists of the microprocessor based measuring unit with three gaging channels (one for the actual reserve of fuel in the tank, one for traveled distance, and one for the current engine speed) and several supplementary, real time clock with quartz-crystal oscillator and self-content supply, memory module for measured parameter registration, LCD display for time, fuel reserve and other necessary parameters visualization. The invention essence consists in use of two similar capacitance coaxial level sensors without dampening, disposed symmetrically in diagonal direction relative to the fuel tank vertical axis of symmetry, connected in parallel to the measuring module. The diagonal arrangement of the couple of sensors, connected in parallel, results in almost complete reciprocal balance of errors caused by the dynamic shifting of the fuel surface in the tank, thus enhancing the measuring accuracy.
