FIELD: organic chemistry, in particular blocked mercaptosilane cross-linking agents. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed blocked cross-linking agent is obtained by reaction of 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane and sodium 2-mercaptobenzothiazolate in isopropyl alcohol solution at 80-82°C. Mixture is agitated at this temperature for 15-20 h, cooled and alcohol is distilled followed by separation of finished product from sodium chloride.
