FIELD: metallurgical machine engineering, namely semi-continuous mills for hot rolling of strip. ^ SUBSTANCE: rolling mill includes heating up furnace, transporting and working roller tables, rough reversing stand, coiling apparatus, flying shears, finish continuous rolling group having several stands, group of strip coilers. Mill is provided with additional reversing rough stand mounted between said rough reversing stand and coiling apparatus and forming continuous rolling group including said rough stand. Distance between additional reversing rough stand and coiling apparatus is selected depending upon length of strip rolled during first rough pass through continuous rough reversing rolling group and it is normalized with use of mathematical relation. ^ EFFECT: enhanced quality of thin strips, lowered time period of rolling and transporting strip, reduced temperature loss of rolled piece. ^ 1 dwg |
