FIELD: radio electronic engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for building completely new small-sized surface mounting automatons. Articles from cassette are transported onto transporting surface for subsequent delivery them into area which is made in form of guide by means of which guide the line sequence of architectural composition articles is formed. Reception and subsequent transfer of mentioned articles to common carrier is carried out by means of transfer elements for rotation to provide corresponding fixing. Surface of transportation is made with linear shift. The guide is shifted step by step along mentioned surface of transportation. The guide is made at angle to direction of shift of transportation surface to have rest which is functionally connected with step engine. Architectural composition articles line sequence is formed at any composition position of mentioned guide. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of small-sized automatons. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
