The device has a check valve (5) mounted on a support (6) using an assembling unit (7) that allows rotation of the valve between closing and open positions of a duct (1). A return unit (8) of the valve is provided in the closing position of the duct. A limiting unit (9) limits amplitude of rotation of the valve during the opening of the duct such that plane of the valve and axis of the duct forms an angle of 45 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a silencer having a gas exhaust line and a duct defining a passage of exhaust gas.
