An air circulating/supplying method of a coke dry quenching (CDQ) facility which can be started with a steam turbine driven circulation blower for steady operation without requiring a small electrically driven circulation blower, and an air circulating/supplying system in which the facility is simplified. In the air circulating/supplying method of CDQ where heat is exchanged between hot coke loaded into the CDQ body (1) and inert gas being introduced from below the CDQ body (1), sensible heat of heat exchanged inert gas is collected by means of a boiler (4) and inert gas cooled through collection of sensible heat by means of the boiler (4) is introduced again to the CDQ body (1) through a circulation blower (5) and circulated, steam is employed as the driving source of the circulation blower (5) wherein the steam is introduced from a separate steam supply (18) at the time of starting the CDQ and introduced from a bypass pipe (17) branched from the steam pipe (13) from the boiler (4) after starting the CDQ. |
