The method involves longitudinally drilling a water circulating conduit of a corroded aluminum cylinder head to widen conduit`s diameter. A metallic tube is inserted in the widened conduit. A thermosetting resin is impregnated in the vacant space between the tube and the cylinder head. The metallic tube made up of a mild steel has an outer thread on its outer surface. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for repairing/renovating corroded aluminum cylinder heads.
