The device has a prop made of a biodegradable material e.g. wooden picket, and wire with a clasp (5) processed by cooling deformation of carbon steel with spring effect. The clasp forms a central part of a protective unit for abutting with the prop to allow an operator to space edges of the clasp on the prop at a variable height to form a hooking point (4).
